Keystroke Aura

Your typing rhythm, revealed.

The way you type is as unique as your handwriting. How long you hold each key, the micro-pauses between letters, the way your fingers hesitate before a capital — these form a pattern called keystroke dynamics, a biometric so distinctive that banks and security firms use it to verify identity. This toy captures that same rhythm and renders it as an aura.

Type a short sentence. We measure your dwell time (how long you press each key) and flight time (the gap between keys), then distill those numbers into a visual signature: a glowing card with a color palette, a rhythm signature, and a rarity tier. Some auras are common. Some are exceedingly rare. You won't know yours until you type.

Your typed words stay in your browser. The only thing we submit to our servers is an anonymous rhythm signature — a small vector of statistics about how you typed, not what you typed. Share the link with a friend to invite them to generate their own aura.

All keystroke timing is captured in your browser. Only a 10-dimensional rhythm vector (mean interval, variance, pause count, and related features) is sent to compute your rarity — never the sentence content or raw keystrokes. The vector alone cannot reconstruct what you typed.

Built for anyone who ever wondered if the way they type means something.
